What’s Important?

Teaching the Word of God is the heart of this ministry.

This is reflected in our practical Sunday messages and classes. We believe God wants us to go deeper in scripture, to be nourished on meat, not just milk.

We value worship through anointed music and praise. We not only experience this in church on Sundays, but also make it a priority to worship the Lord in every area of our daily lives.

We seek the presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit. We encourage the exercise and development of spiritual gifts in the lives of believers.

Another distinguishing mark of this ministry is family. First, we believe that as born-again believers and members of the kingdom of God, we are all part of the same family. Second, we believe that God created us in His image regardless of nationality, race, language, tribe, or nation. The ethnic diversity of our congregation is a testimony to that truth.

A Room With A View

Welcome to an experience with God that promises to meet every need, answer every question, and fix everything that is broken in our lives. That is the SOZO Life. This is what we as a church want to encourage you into, and intimate walk with God! We do not do that for you, but we are here to encourage you in every stage of that walk with God. SOZO is a greek word that captures the gospel in a single word. It means; salvation, healing, and redemption. In the big picture, it means “wholeness” in the sense of you being made complete in every aspect of your being so you too can start doing. This is also how we define discipleship so yes, it is our goal to make disciples of all.

We believe that SOZO is walked out by being open to experiencing God, embracing Him in every area of you life, and linking together with others to walk and to work in the kingdom of God. If you come worship with us, you will hear us talk about Open, Embrace, Link as the process all of us go through in coming closer to God, and coming closer to one another. Why does “closeness” matter? We believe our God is also our heavenly father, so that means he is there to help us through any challenge, to love us through any sin, and to know us so we can know ourselves.

Come join the journey to SOZO with us!
